Manila — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s visit to San Jose de Buan today, is a manifestation that she continuous to give top priority to education, health and welfare of the disadvantaged Filipinos.

As she has pledge to devote a portion of her Fridays to her climate change advocacy, President Arroyo has also scheduled a briefing on Climate Change with Secretary Heherson Alvarez.

President Arroyo is scheduled to unveil the markers of the two units two-classrooms school building which was constructed by the 53rd Engineer Brigade under PGMA’s Kalayaan Barangay Program, for the children of San Jose de Buan town.

President Arroyo has always placed education a top priority because she believes that education is the key to a better life.

Another Kalayaan Barangay projects that the President will inaugurate are two health centers which are much needed to take care of the health of the people. The nearest hospital to the town is in Catbalogan which is 4 hours away.

The street-lighting project at Poblacion 1 will also be inspected by the President.
